Cultivate Marketing Liaison (Volunteer Role)

 

PURPOSE: To lead, model, and represent the vision of Cultivate both on, and offline. Use social media marketing to inform, engage, and grow the Cultivate women ministry as well as leverage other marketing mediums to accomplish goals.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize content for Cultivate events and marketing promotions to post to social.
  • Manage the Cultivate Facebook and Instagram communities (respond to comments, messages, etc).
  • Work with Marketing and Cultivate Lead to develop strategic tactics around Cultivate hashtags and sweepstakes.
  • Collaborate with Cultivate photog for any and all photos used for social media and blog.
  • Identify women’s ministry opportunities (both online and offline), working with Marketing Lead to execute.
  • Works with Graphic Designer for specific needs, requests, and the creation of some elements.
  • Executes social media plan (content planning, organizing, posting and scheduling).
  • Coordinates and oversees blog writers.
  • Maintains branding values across social media and website.
  • Demonstrates a reasonable amount of technical know how to troubleshoot web and social media issues.
  • Acts as a liaison between Cultivate and Creative to both communicate and stay informed.
  • Keep in touch with Cultivate and Marketing Lead and other key staff to learn about the current or upcoming events/promotions and strategy.
  • Attends Cultivate Team Meetings to connect and build relationships with the team and also to learn about/plan for upcoming events, activities and promotions.

  • Uphold and support the vision, mission, and policies of Sandals Church.
  • Shares a passion for creative writing, empowering women in Christ and community, and driving measurable results.
  • Assume responsibility for initiating a pleasant atmosphere by displaying a professional attitude through performance, appearance, and demeanor.  
  • Think strategically and have a passion for reaching women through social media marketing.
  • Web and social networking savvy with great communication skills.  
  • Ability to communicate ideas and information in online formats.

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT: 12 Months from start date

 

HOURS: 2-6 Hours per week

 

OBJECTIVES/ GOALS

  • Expand reach of Cultivate social media communities to engage target demo (millennial women) and increase influence
  • Engage and inspire online users to connect them back to our vision to go out and live it out.
  • Set and reach attendance goals for events as well as merchandise sales.
  • To continually seek to reproduce themselves in the lives of others.
  • To grow the number of women who can contribute as bloggers, storytellers, and contributors to our web and social media presence.
  • To serve the Cultivate team well by being consistent, offering ideas, and executing new initiatives well.
